I think a person who lies under oath about committing adultery should be slapped across the hand. A person who lies about committing murder under oath should be given a life sentence.

That's not the question. Clinton wasn't on trial for adultery, he lied in a civil action in an effort to cover up his CIVIL WRONG in that trial. And his testimony was considered important and relevent in determining his CIVIL RESPONSIBILITY to the plaintiff.

There is no reasoning with you on this issue. Honest to god, the reasoning for your answer is so convoluted I don't see how you get through your daily activities.
