It's all about looting Americans, regardless of the lives of Americans, or anybody else in the world, for that matter.
Follow the money, through the rivers of blood and forests of disinformation.
In "Wealth and Democracy" Kevin Phillips outlines it pretty well, going back centuries. The only difference this time is that the technology for fascism controlled by the Bush Crime Family has reached a higher art than ever before.
Sunday I saw the usual "Meet the Press" lovefest for a new slaughter, all about not if, but when. The excuses? Rice says "morality demands we attack", as if we have a mandate from God to smite every immoral country. Kissinger says "sovereignty is over" when small groups not affiliated with nations can threaten big ones. This is an extension of the Noriega capture, but with less evidence or world support. The best Lugar could muster was "Ok, but let's get more support", as if the propaganda machine can't manufacture as much support as combined ownership of the media will allow.
The propaganda machine runs focus groups to test emotional words, which are then used to select speakers for shows like this. If you fire people up, you give bribed Congressmen cover and achieve the desired result, unobstructed by mousey Democrats or Independents, who can't break through the media distraction.
Voila, a highly distracting, highly profitable so-called "war".
Then, if you really need to crank things up, watch the nukes or threats of nukes, and we're in martial law, if needed, in case anyone gets the gumption to object to the completion of the takeover of US citizenry. "National Security", you know. |
