Thanks....Distrusting the NEA is quite reasonable, but denunciation before the fact doesn't make for good public relations, and undermines the expression of legitimate concerns. Although the organization is somewhat PC, most working teachers are pretty much like their neighbors, fairly patriotic and civic minded, sometime liberal, sometimes conservative, but mostly non- ideological, and so forth. Thus, they are not likely to indoctrinate so much as muddle the matter. That is unfortunate, but not cause for alarm......
