Navigator Exploration Corp.: Gold Exploration Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Navigator Exploration Corp. (TSX Venture: NVR - News) is pleased to
announce that an exploration drill program has commenced on its mineral claims covering the northern tip of the Hope Bay Volcanic Belt, Nunavut. The
ORO claims are located on tide water covering 4,121 ha of prospective ground approximately 3000m north of the Doris gold deposit controlled by the
Hope Bay Joint Venture (HBJV). The HBJV has recently announced a feasibility study of the potential development of the Doris deposit. Navigator's drill
program will consist of approximately 1200m of drilling in 6 to 8 drill holes testing several overburden covered target areas on the ORO 5 mineral claim
where previous exploration work by the company has identified the on-strike extension of the iron-rich basalts and anticlinal structure that host gold
mineralization at Doris. The areas targeted for drilling are located within a northeastern flexure of the 'Doris Volcanics' and related lithologies, coincident
with a prominent northeast trending structure and linear magnetic lows. Although outcrop exposure in the area is limited, detailed prospecting of the flanks
of the target areas has identified quartz-carbonate alteration and returned up to 9.5 g/t gold from grab samples. A similar northeastern flexure of host
lithologies occurs at the Doris and Boston gold deposits located further south in the HBVB. Navigator currently holds an option to earn a 100% interest in
the ORO claims by incurring total exploration expenditures of $2.09 million.
