If a couple of major financial centers fail, it will panic folks with 401k's & other brokerage accounts as they realize the risk to houses failing & they will doubt that the insurance on those accounts will cover them...... thus a panic in folks liquefying their accounts & turning to $$$

At least I think that's what surferdude is thinking.
