There is not a chance in heck that Microsoft will split this year. The CFO explicitly stated as much yesterday. Anyone who believes otherwise doesn't understand the fundamentals of the business and is simply dreaming. Price alone does not warrant a stock split. If people would get this simple fact through their thick skulls and look at the situation with a rational mind they would realize a split if not in the making for at least 6-9 months.
