name one country in Africa where they would be better off today if their ancestors had never been removed from that continent.

Personally, I would like to see African nations stand up and take their share of the blame for the trade in human lives they instituted.

Farrakhan and his cronies are quick to blames whites for something that happened 200 years ago, but mighty slow in condemning the CURRENT slavery that is taking place in Sudan and other African nations. And the also mighty slow in noting that these African kingdoms had a long history of enslaving each others tribes, normally killing off the male warriors and claiming the women as their own.

One thing is sure. This is NOT the path to creating equality for all people within this country.

Especially when there are a significant number of people living in this country who's ancestors had NOTHING to do with the holding of slaves (having immigrated here at a latter date, or having lived in non-slave states). Yet, these reparations would be paid out of national tax revenue.

I'm certainly not for cash payments. But it they wish to give every descendant of a slave family a free college education, then I'm all for that.
