Yes, it did, but IME the Dems sympathizers are more adept at taking over what should be neutral organizations than the Repub sympathizers are. AARP, for example. I don't know of many orgs that were set up with an obstensibly party-neutral purpose that have been taken over by Repubs. Could be just my ignorance, but I don't think so.
