There was nothing anti-American about protesting a pointless, useless war promoted by profiteers. What is unAmerican behavior was found among the people who sent those boys to fight that war and then turned their backs on them when they returned. Ask the men who served their country what they think of Viet Nam. I have, and I don't know any one of them including my late husband or my RW boyfriend who thought it was worth fighting. We lost that long, costly, tragic war and gained a national drug problem. We who were against the war while standing steadfastly by those who fought were right after all.
