Agreed, and while we're at it let's put to a vote a realistic pension plan for the Executive and Legislative branches of Government. Where is the check and balance when the Legislative branch can vote themselves pay raises. The Government wants public companies to have independent board of directors, well how about an independent commission in charge of Legislator compensation policy.
