We just got our first (two) Tomagotchis! My wife had to go to four stores (!) here in California until she found one in stock. My 9 year old loves it. It also turns out now that every one of her friends has one too. One of them has three going at one time. It seems that the kids that are inclined to be more nurturing need more than one.... just like some super parents. Within 48 hours, my daughter got her second one. I've seen prices from $15 to $25. Once you are aware of them, they seem to be everywhere. Surprisingly, boys seem to like them as well. I think the potential, with other scenarios besides creatures growing up and needing care, is unlimited. I also think this stock is going to be a VERY big winner, say around Xmas.
