Jeff I have followed this thread for some time now as well as a few others. I have one question regarding your retrace theory. What is the premise (logically) for the market following the same pattern as it did in the early thirties? Is it that you feel the powers that be will manipulate the market to perform in a similar fashion until the final washout (this one I doubt but you speak so much about manipulation)?....or is it that human nature never changes and therefore economically speaking the two time frames are so similar that it will all unfold in a nearly identical pattern propelled by greed and fear. In essence all bubbles this enormous unravel in a similar fashion??? to where they began.
