Hewlett-Packard was a great company before it was taken over by Compac. A very sad chapter, but it may take a couple of years to play out this great blunder.

TransMeta's approach to computer processor design was fine 40 years ago. Ditzel had a lot of faith in the company as he sold 5 million dollars worth when the stock was 12+. That was when Joe Osha was recommending the stock, suggesting that it would go to 60 in the next 12 months or so.

David Ditzel CEO has been busy selling. That should tell everybody a lot about this company. This company will be dead within 3 years. Just my humble opinion...humble carl
