I think to be slander it would have to be a bit more specific. "Make a mess of it" is highly subjective. Tim,"mess" implies less than a good job......its blanket slander. It ignores all the good presidents who had a liberal background. Its prejudice of the worst kind. Sorry if you don't get it. Having said all that, I also clearly prefaced my remarks by saying it was one of the more benign examples of his slander. I would have found worse ones but I began to develop Excedrin headache #12 rereading his posts and it wasn't worth the point. <g> Sorry. ted
