Anybody else here trade thru BMO Investorline? Have you seen the latest news that they are raising their commission rates effective September 30th?

In some cases (specific examples I have worked out are 5000 shares at $1, and 5000 shares at $2) it is actually CHEAPER to phone your order in and pay full commission than to pay the supposed DISCOUNTED COMMISSION for web-based orders.

I have written a formal letter of complaint to BMO Investorline and I have also phoned the local trading desk that I deal with in Calgary to register my strong protest. If you are a current client of BMO Investorline, please take a moment to register your complaint as well. Every little bit helps.
