I thought Monster's Ball was great. Amazing work.

I do get out a lot. Each of my kids has several appointments a week, then there is getting together with friends, shopping, job related errands- I could leave more than a few books somewhere everyday. But I'm trying to be judicious and match locals with books. I get to rate the books with stars when I register them :-) Such awesome power!

Angel Of Darkness was interesting. But I preferred the Alienist. I have Carr's new book "Killing Time" but I have not read it yet. When I was at Costco today I made an impulse purchase of Tulips- I do love non-fiction. Orchid Fever, my last flower related book, was a delight to read. I hope Tulips is just as good. Saw a review of The Poet and the Murderer- non fiction- looked like a wonderful book. I'd like to read that. Am also in the middle of Pynchon's Mason & Dixon, and am also reading The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No HOrse.
