While reading this thread, how can it possibly be that you are "not familiar with Newsmax"?
On one hand I find that more than a bit hard to believe, but on the other, I've seen your rather smooth method of distancing yourself and "your side" from what you feel may appear "unattractive".

Are you serious? The above statement is a complete joke. The majority of "your side" that's yammering away on the GEORGE W. BUSH - HOME OF THE RIGHT-WING HOMELESS thread are still hung up on Mr. Clinton, with Newsmax and less being cited day in and day out as information, no, make that "sources of fact", that are beyond reproach. One of your buddies just compared breath mint ads in the NYT with the lovely George Bush posters and hats being sold on Newsmax!
Now that doesn't exactly say much for "your side" now does it?
At the same time, I must say that the game played by "your side" of labeling mainstream media as liberal is while not new, most cleaver. In fact, the entire liberal - demolib - socialist labeling game is clever.
Isn't it possible, let's say in terms of investigative reporting, that sooner or later the ol' "liberal label" becomes a rather convenient way to dismiss any and all criticism?
And best of all, it's a technique that's been proven to be highly effective.
I mean, you are aware that the identical tactics were used in Germany, aren't you?
