My only trade Tuesday was cutting my PERY position by half ahead of earnings; both SGDE and TBAC had a mediocre response to good earnings, PERY may do the same. I will look at the report carefully and watch the trading action before I decide whether to close it out completely. Nice strength in MAXF, JDAS, ACGL, L and PVAT on Tuesday, these are all still compelling value stories with plenty of upside. The portfolio was up on a down market day - maybe we are moving back to the March-June era when value investing could succeed despite an erratic overall market. I certainly don't see the panic selling that overwhelmed the market in July.
