My husband's parents who were KANSAS wheat, milo, and cattle farmers, as a wedding gift, GENEROUSLY and UNEXPECTEDLY gave us the entire grain harvest-- GROSS PROCEEDS-- of the farm the year we were married and bought our first home. It was a wedding gift, from which we made the $11K downpayment. Where did you get the idea we saved for it? Not from me!!!! I never said that. Talk about a words twister! What a laugh! 1968 Husband's Place of employment: Harper Trucks, Wichita KS. Hubby was a welder. Volunteered as a Sheriff's department reserve officer on weekends--Sedgwick County, KS. (Volunteer means NO pay) Care to check them out? I suppose you'll want his old badge number, right? LOL I'll have to get into the family pix album and look that up. RE: I didn't start scrapping out gold in 1968, but in 1990. You'd know that if you would have read my bio or clicked through on some links. Your point was to make me out to be liar? That is hillarious...it's my life...I certainly know the details. I've never had any goofy stranger ask so many personal questions. Are you writing an unauthorized biography of me, and intending to get rich over night (or is it next week?) by doing so. Sounds about your speed in your latest get rich quick schemer mind.
