Comerica to Offer Free Business Checking

DETROIT, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Comerica Bank is offering free checking accounts to small businesses.

Businesses who open new Small Business Checking Plus or Standard Business Checking accounts between now and November 15, 2002, will have their monthly maintenance fees -- including debit, credit, items deposited, excess activity and FDIC charges -- waived for one year. They also will receive free Comerica Web Banking for Business, free Comerica Web Bill Pay for Business for six months, free no-annual fee overdraft protection with no transfer fees for a year, free ADP payroll services for one month, a free initial order of checks and a free Business Check Card with no annual fee.

Comerica also is offering special savings for the owners of small businesses. Business owners who open new business checking accounts also can receive a Regular Checking account free for a year, an Equity FlexLine with no annual fee the first year and no closing costs, and free Comerica Web Bill Pay for six months. . .
