Elmer, Intel may well have to close a few fabs due to over capacity as things get smaller and the PC growth rate stays smaller than in past years. If Intel is only counting on the PC market and it doesn't pick up then of course you're right. As for things getting smaller, the only things that get smaller are the feature sizes. The die always seem to stay about the same... EP
