In fact, AMD stands to lose quite a bit this quarter. But watching Intel lower processor pricing is consolation enough for Dan3. Little does he know, though, that new processors like the 2.67GHz and 2.8GHz parts (which are already showing up in the channel) will take the place of the higher price points. Intel may be losing a couple more percentage of margin, but AMD doesn't have anywhere else to go but down. Their GMs fell from 35% down to 7% in the last quarter. Will they have to go negative this quarter? wbmw
