I'm not going to spend much time on this issue, but I do have a few questions to pose.

1. What should happen if an individual could prove that his or her white ancestors did in fact helped free slaves via the underground tunnel or by other means?

2. Should post-slavery newcomers to our shores be required to pay reparations?

3. Wasn't it a relatively small group of individuals that owned slaves in the first place, and if so, should the majority be responsible for the sins of the minority?

4. Should descendants of Union soldiers who fought to liberate blacks from slavery be required to pay reparations?
