Hi Karen,

Thanks for the link and the information. I take all news concerning a possible connection between Iraq and al-Qaida very seriously. My reasons are simple. If the Bush administration can demonstrate complicity between Iraq and al-Qaida, this relationship would constitute a legitimate reason to pre-emptively strike Iraq, in my humble opinion. Such actions would be consistent with the mandate his administration proposed to our nation and the world following the events of 9/11. But such evidence does not exist.

I have addressed the article which you have brought up and given my opinion on why it is nothing but old news. There is no definitive proof in that story to tie Saddam to al-Qaida. Here are my thoughts:
