If the Bush administration can demonstrate complicity between Iraq and al-Qaida

How much of a connection would it take to satisfy you? Do you need proof that Saddam was behind 9/11 or would you be satisfied with proof that Saddam aided and abetted Al Qaeda in general, or even indirectly?

How strong does the evidence need to be?

Some, I see, after watching the OBL tape where he crows about 9/11, maintain that his comments are insufficient to connect the dots.

The fact that the hijackers were Al Qaeda members, that OBL was the head of Al Qaeda, and that he was very pleased with the results are not sufficient.

Others will discount all evidence as suspect because they do not trust this administration.

As for me, the fact that Saddam bankrolls secular terrorists who are allied with Islamist terrorists, including Al Qaeda, is enough. The friend of my enemy is, in this case, my enemy.
