98% of all musicians are liberals, and I'm fanatic about lots of different kinds of music. But I don't want them running the country. There is something to be said for letting liberals do what they do best (enterainment, arts, etc.) and letting conservatives do what they do best (run the country, run business, manage people, etc.). But please, let's not have Barbara Steisand or Alec Baldwin trying to conduct foreign policy. Artistic geniuses they may be, they are totally ignorant when it comes to politics and foreign policy.
Well, I have a different view.......conservatives make up 91.5% of the totalitarian gov'ts in the world. I don't mind them running armies or prisons....after all, that's what they do best but I would prefer they keep their autocratic ways out of gov't. It too divisive a quality.
It seems neither of us will probably get what we want. Thank God, though, there are more liberals than there are conservatives. And with all the music and drugs, we tend to procreate more.......you know how that goes........look at Bill Clinton. With procreation on our side, future populations will remain proportionately more liberal...........its a genetic thing. |
