I think serious, intelligent, well-meaning people can believe in slavery reparations;

I tend to think that it is a small minority of the African American population that really cares about this. I suspect that the people pushing for slavery reparations are likely very intelligent and very greedy. Anybody who gives this serious thought and still claims to be in favor of reparations is no longer well-meaning in my book.
