I know what you mean, but use the ignore feature, it really makes a difference. It's the same thing as a moderated thread, if you think about it. You only see the posts from the people you want to read - so you're the moderator. Sometimes I only see 5 to 6 messages on this thread. The other thing is that I wanted this thread to be an open forum - one of the reasons it's the largest thread on SI. It also keeps the CIA busy sifting through the morons here, or at least that's the rumor. :-)
