This is intended for long term investors who pay too much attention to be passive LTB&Hers, but do not want to be intermediate term traders. I am one. I want to sell way out of the money, ~6 month covered calls when there is a good return and little likelihood that my shares will be called away. Hopefully, this rally will continue and offer such an opportunity.

I picked 4 variable to follow: prices, resistance levels, 12 month analyst targets, and the strike price on ~6 month out calls which yield a premium of >= 10%. Ideally, a strike price above major resistance and close to or above the 12 month target with a >=10% premium is what I thought should be looked for.

I would like input (help) on the resistance levels as they are just my eye-ball and technicians can probably improve on it. I would like comments on the philosophy and methodology from long term investors who are or are not interested in pursuing this idea.
