Perhaps a blind-chicken point must be recognized in #9354. The use of margin is often combined with a stop-loss system to limit the risks of the kind of market we have been seeing. The old saw of sell-when-it's-down-8% would be incredibly useless in biotech, which is all over the board even in the best of times. But aggressive management of the margin, or even just holding what one has the capital for, is certainly worth considering. No suggestions here, other than that it's food for discussion, and the thread is not as talkative as it was when it was younger...
