It must be a sad sight as you drive around seeing what's left after the fire. When I hike or paddle the canoe on the lake, I sometimes imagine what it would look like it a massive fire happened. I shiver at the thought. It would be horrible. I would not be able to take it. What a horrible loss. It all part of nature's cycle, but it's one that I'm not particularly fond of...
