The bombing of the drug factory and the ill-planned attack on an Al-Qaeda base may have been an instance of "wag the dog". In Kosovo, there was an immanent humanitarian disaster, and our NATO allies implored us to do something about it. Additionally, our credibility, and NATOs, was on the line by that time, so it was a matter of national interest as well. Finally, calling Clinton "Hitler" in that context was egregious in and of itself. Yet neither of us called Bill a traitor.......
