Louis - Great stuff on HDTV and GIC. That is how I became interested in GIC initially but since then it seems the focus has been more on their digital cable boxes an the Next Level FTTC program. I'm still a little confused though about how cable companies will deploy HDTV. They will have to scrap a couple of channels to do it right? Won't there be some resistance to do so given that their competitor, the Direct TV's etc are competing already with more channels. Is this the resistance or is it other factors i.e. costs with little additional revenue fore broadcasters and cable companies? After all, an ad is an ad, and you can sell it for the same price whether it is clear or not right?
