I understand where you are coming from, though I don't recall your post on the subject. The irony may be that you did not do anything wrong and answered the questions truthfully (even though they probably weren't under oath), he did do something wrong and lied when asked the questions while under oath. And of course, there is that small little distinction that he is the official in charge of faithfully executing the country's laws, based on an oath he took in front of the whole nation, while you and I are mere worker bees. Just maybe that oath means that he should have had a bit more respect for the importance of telling the truth in our legal system when under oath.
