Truly, I don't think they want to "get it". I think they like feeling sorry for their own selves and blaming every body and his brother for their own problems and misfortunes in this life. Other ethnic people who came to this country either as a servent or of their own free will have managed to put their head down, push forward, get past the prejustices, build a better life for their own selves and put the past behind 'em.
