Second, we have no solid measure of what the addition of three dual damascene metal layers (a total of six layers - three via, three trench) is going to do to AMD's COG. I don't look for their gross margins to be favorable...

Gross margins is such a broad number, so far removed from cost of something like adding a layer of metal, that there is no point in discussing it. Primary variable that determines gross margins are ASPs and factory utilization. The extra layer is "noise" as some website called it, especially in an overcapacity situation.
