Had a wonderful day ystdy being tour-guide and co-host, showing around a couple of super SI'ers who drove 8 hours one way to see first hand the wonderful and exciting eastern Oregon goldfields. There was a nice drizzle in the forest, quite unexpected, but very VERY welcome, the off and on kind of drizzle most of the time we were back up in the mountains. That raint reduced the fire danger and cut the forest fire risk rating by two categories. YAY!!!

We all drove down to the elluvial deposits of gold and Chinese burrowed tunnels into the elluvial benches at the Valentine's Blue Bucket Gold Diggings, too.

The son learned to pay while Dad took the pix. (YES HE WAS SUCCESSFUL) and then we all went to dinner and talked till late. What fun. There are really some nice people, in this case men, including sons, who hang out on SI.

The topic of the Day was gold stocks, silver stocks, gold mining, gold investments, and various SI'ers, hey, we talked about it all. They asked for and got my top 3 gold picks--and yup, ZERO silver picks.

What a great day. What great guys! Thanks, fella's! Come back when you can stay longer. We'll put you to work!

Tom, you've plumb gone loco. Take a chill pill. After the nice day with those guys yesterday, your personal attack is in perspective and you are sadly lacking as a desireable conversant. Take your best shot. You get the last word, which is all you want, anyhow.

I prefer the company of gentleman such as came yesterday for a first hand look/see/visit to your vituperous badgering. Speaking of gentlemen, Claude, you got complimentary gentleman points from my guests, and from the co-host as well...don't faint. LOL
