Re: E-Machines.

Oh boy, I get to rant about how bad my E-Machine was. I say was because it is no more. I scrapped it and junked it.

The first month the modem went bad - which to be fair, they sent me a new one at no charge. Then the CD-ROM went bad. I replaced that myself. Then something went wrong with the power supply that several shops couldn't fix. The only way I could turn off the machine was to turn off the power and the only way I could turn it on was to keep flipping the switch on the surge protector on and off - sometimes it took 20 attempts.

I have owned 3 Dells and haven't had a single problem. I had 3 problems in less than 2 years with my E-Machine. Buy that junk at your own risk.
