I don't see a corelation to motorized vehicles and cable TV which are still the domain of middle class. At Rs 500(the floor monthly rental is Rs 200 now) a month the cellphone would drive into much lower levels and the numerically largest classes. It is a great productivity enhancing and control device for employers and tradesmen.
