SP - anyone see the interview with the tech guy from the WSJ on CNBC about an hour ago? He had been using a pcmcia card. He said 3G differnt definitions he didn't want to get into but Vision was a bit faster than "the others today". It was a bit faster than a dial-up modem but wasn't fantastic. Had a peak rate that was just enough to qualify it as 3G but didn't mention the speed. In fact didn't mention any actual speed except by comparison. BUT and here is the main point he said it was expensive. he said he would use the monthly quota of data in two days. after that it was $2 per Mb. He said for it to take off it had to be fixed rate.
