"Blood thirsty imperialists" is not a term I use. I don't think it describes this situation; nor the actions of the folk you have in mind.

I rather said that folk like Wolfowitz and Perle, the latter more than the former, have a blood lust coming on them as they anticipate an invasion of Iraq. I did not intend to characterize anyone's posting on this thread that way.

I regret the "blood lust" comment now. Wish I had thought of Chuck Hagel's more elegant phrasing, that is if Perle were so interested in an early invasion of Iraq, he should lead the first wave of troops into Baghdad. It's another way of saying the same thing. Wars are terrible things; only should be engaged in when all other options have been exhausted. Perle is way too eager.
