<2Q result is $0.10 /share. Look to me as a very good result.>
First Call was looking .08.
There are 3 analysts on the stock- Alex Brown, Robbie Stephens and Soundview. Brown (Mortinsen) has been the most conservative.:
AB has their second highest rating (buy) and has maintained that after these earnings due to valuations. Both Soundview and RS have ASDV at their highest rating.
Numbers have been raised, and are as follows:
AB 97 went from .33 to .40 ; 98 goes from .56 to .66 RS 97 goes .39 to .42 ; 98 from .61 to .65 SV 97 .35 ups to .38 ; 98 from .58 to .65
STILL, this stock is trading today at 154 times trailing earnings, 70 times revised 97E, and 43 times 98E. 97E to 98E growth is 63%. (Mortinsen's report shows PE/growth at a very aggressive 1.7) So we seem to be still pretty rich at these levels, with not much room for error going forward.
Chart looks pretty good, holding above both the 50day and 200day (26/25), with some support at 25, then 22, then 19. Resistance at 29-30 however, which even a good earnings report doesn't seem to breach (yet, anyway... and COMP is bouncing off it's lows today)
Fwiw, as a trader, when it didn't pop (MSFT notwithstanding), I took profits from earlier this week. Also look for some insider selling this coming week... likely Monday.
