Journalists herd like sheep, [or Mindless Zombies], copying each other. When cdma2000 gets going, they'll herd to it and go nuts, all claiming to have discovered it first after Ericsson invented it back in 1880. Except that Ericsson seems likely to be ignored in the journalistic frenzy in the gold rush to the new lode.

As you say, startup is hardly the right word for a $25 billion market capitalisation company, bigger than Ericsson and other biggies, which was started way back in 1985. From a year ago, here are some figures: Message 16061008
