There's a trader saying that says 80% of a move is usually done in 20% of the time. It is 22 trading days off the low. It took the DOW just over 4 days (about 20% of 22 days) to move from the 7500 low to the 8700 high, or 1200 points out of 1600 (75% of the move).

After those first 4 1/2 days, the market has struggled to gain another 400 points and in doing so has pushed up most indicators into extreme overbought territory.
