2.5 GHz. Yikes! If would have been happy with 2 GHz. When AMD says performance is 25% higher than TBred, they mean what they say -- it will run it 0.8 of the runtime. That is equivalent to a 45% boost relative to P4 performance, because it takes a 45% boost in P4 clock speed (on average) to get 25% higher performance.

So, right now, a 2.5 GHz TBred performs at 2.8 GHz P4 levels (keep in mind that 2/3 of the benchmarks in the reviews are SSE2 optimized, something that won't help Intel anymore). So I estimate the "P4-rating" of the 2.5 GHz Clawhammer as 2.8 x 1.45 or 4.06 GHz.
