That was fine. I didn't recognize that it was intended to be humorous, and that could have been a humor-deficit on my part instead of on that of the humorists. What I objected to was that the bad-mouthing of me continued after I was banned. IMO, that's bad form. I know it's widely done, but not by me.

JLA, I strongly suspect the move and votes to ban TP from participating in a "free-for-all" (from the thread header) on a "Boxing Ring" thread were politically-based. To silence his expression of his point of view. And I've asked a number of times for some examples of posts of his on this thread that would show that it isn't his political expression you want to silence, but some egregiousness unconnected to your political disagreements with him.

I did go read back a few and couldn't find anything that would justify the move to silence him here.

Would you please reassure me that it wasn't to silence someone whose political content or message you find offensive that you instigated the move to silence him? All you have to do is provide the links to a few of the posts that warrant his being silenced for other than reasons of political disagreement.

I'm disturbed, being a free speech fan, and really want to see the posts you and others felt warranted silencing the poster.

I won't be back until later today....

(No hard feelings about either thread you banned me from, btw.)
