Hello Dale,

I hope you will know the answer to this question...what if a shareholder turned down the tender offer? Do they forfeit their stock or do will they receive Compaq stock of comparable value?

I have heard of other instances where companies have acquired other companies, some shareholders were unaware, then sometime down the road they discover they suddenly own stock in the new company worth much more than they expected....??

Would appreciate any input that you or anyone else may have on this question.

Best of Luck,

Terry
