Hi Marty, Welcome to the thread! It's always nice to have some more fundamental research input. I still haven't seen any virtual pets at Wal-Mart or Target (in Westminster, Colorado, anyway). I was sure they would have some by now. I did hear the familiar Tamagotchi beeps in Wal-Mart yesterday, but I think someone had brought their own Tamagotchi with them. Yes, there is definitely potential for other products. Gameboy display-style games with decent animation are possible, and much more interesting than the static-looking LCD mini-games that have been around for the past 15 years or so. Here's hoping the stock gets a boost around Christmas. It sure doesn't seem to be getting a boost from the hype out now. Please keep us updated with more fundamental research as you come across it.
