JFS: I applaud you for speaking out forcefully against Thomas Watson's calling a particular poster "a slut." I am equally bothered by this kind of conduct. There is no excuse for the mannerless Watson to resort to this kind of name-calling. As a lad, his parents should have washed his mouth out with soap more often. What we're talking about here, of course, is a matter of common decency, not right vs. left. There's a way to needle the other side absent of junior-high name-calling, but, obviously, that is beyond Watson's capabilities. I also find it amusing that JLA and Prolife have come to Watson's defense, trying to mitigate or explain away his boorish behavior. You are indeed correct ... their defense of such probably puts them in the same league. I would urge all decent-minded posters on this board to put Watson on IGNORE.
