Perhaps. But more likely would be a return for credit of the machine, IMO.

IE, Return the machine you bought due to the deceptive practices and we'll credit your purchase price toward a new machine.

That immediately takes out --

Anybody who didn't keep the initial sales receipt.
Anybody who's diddled with their machine and can't put it back together.

And I'd guess there would have to be a 'Did Knowingly' clause in there somewhere.

But, in the case of the 'class action' laws it doesn't look too bad so long as one is under the $75K limit(per individual).

Could be Bapco(and Intel) have a smoking benchmark on their hands.
